Hello Reader,

My husband and I celebrated our 37th wedding anniversary last week, so marriage is on my mind right now and is the topic I chose for this week's link list. I hope these posts and printables will be a blessing to you and yours. Enjoy!

What I'm reading this week:

Organizing for the Rest of Us by Dana K. White

As I was growing up, whenever my closet or dresser drawers got into an especial state of disarray, my mom would send me to "clean my room." When she later checked on my progress, things would often look worse than before I started.

Then my dear mother would come along beside me and help restore order and make everything tidy and easy to find. In Organizing for the Rest of Us, Dana White provides her readers with the same kind of practical, how-to encouragement my mom gave me. If organizing doesn't come naturally to you, I recommend you check her hundred helpful hints out for yourself.

On the podcast this week:

Loving Life at Home - Episode 58

THE BEST WEDDING GIFT EVER

Tune into the podcast this week as we discuss the best wedding gift any couple will ever receive β€” a gift that God Himself designed and prepared especially for husbands and wives to enjoy and one that will benefit them in all the myriad ways detailed below and more.

Progress on last week's goals:

Well, I bit off a bit more than I could chew last week, so while I did manage to βœ… finish shopping for school supplies, βœ… hem my son's scrubs, βœ… make some handmade ornaments, and βœ… decorate my back-to-school tree, I have not finished ❌ sewing new pillowcases for boys' room, ❌ painting a pretty storage pot for cat food, or ❌ making assignment sheets for the 1st six weeks of lessons.

Personal goals for next week:

  • finish lesson plans
  • finish pillow cases
  • paint storage pot
  • clear off my closet desk (again)
  • make project sample for leather class
  • review Vocal Gym for Timberdoodle
  • update calendar files on website
