Hello Reader,

My son tells me he's been thinking about making a belt out of old watches, but decided against it. "Yeah," he explains, "I realized it would be a complete waist of time." 🙄

February is National Time Management Month. So if you, like Isaac, dislike the idea of wasting time, then the following link list is all for you. Enjoy!

Free resources for you this week:

What I'm reading this week:

The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne.

Hawthorne beautifully contrasts the penance done by Hester Prynne, a woman publicly branded as an adulteress in 17th-century Puritan New England, with that of her fellow adulterer, who kept his sin hidden and was consequently tormented by hypocrisy, guilt, and shame.

I made some scrumptious chickpea and coconut curry soup this week -- another meal from Every Plate. If you've never tried EveryPlate, you can get your first box free. Just follow this referral link to --> choose your free meals.

On the podcast the week:

Loving Life at Home: Episode 32

HOW TO GET STUFF DONE

Today I’m pulling back the curtain on a bunch of habits that have helped me be more productive.

I hope you’ll find them helpful for getting stuff done, as well.

Progress on last week's goals:

Hooray! Last week was one of those rare weeks when I was able to mark every last item off my to-do list: I ✅ completed four more pages in my devotional journal for Easter, ✅ committed both Genesis 1:1-5 and John 1:1-5 to memory, ✅ painted roses on the top of another stool. ✅ added two more volumes of cut paper patterns (Seasonal Scherenschnitte and Sensational Scherenschnitte), ✅ finished The Scarlet Letter on our drive to San Antonio, where we are planning to ✅ spend the next few days visiting my son Samuel's family.

Personal goals for this week:

  • help my grandson make a T-Rex pinata
  • add a new Easter Print Pack to our shop
  • walk/jog as much of the Cowtown Half-Marathon as I can
  • put together a costume for Pirates vs. Mermaids Day at co-op
  • review Vocal Gym for Timberdoodle
  • book accommodations for an upcoming road trip
